One more thing.. There can now be created Artist <-> User links.

mods can enable it in the artist admin page.

What it does:
-Artist page shows a link to the user page
-User page shows a link to the artist page
-If a user uploads to the artist profile he's linked to, the file is automatically activated.

Im getting a lot of users saying their tracks are being skipped in the queue completely, seems to be sparatic and not related to a VBR mp3 or the likes. Seems to be happening to old tracks and also newly approved ones from time to time. Also, one of the tracks I found was this:

Onward

Which gives a 404 on the server's link to the file. Is there a possibility that some tracks didnt switch paths or something similar when DB was just updated?

Spiral also uploaded I Have Been Waiting (XM) and had it auto-approved, and it too skipped through on the queue. Could this be related to newly uploaded/approved songs added since the DB update?

OK, a weird bug happened around 8:25PM Pacific time. I had queued up Rainy Night, then Variform, but when Rainy Night started to play, the Now Playing said Variform. Confirmed by HaCKa as well. My player correctly stated that it was playing Rainy Night. Will post again after Rainy Night finishes.

So here's what happened next: The counter on the Now Playing counted all the way to 0:00, and stayed there, since Rainy Night was longer than Variform. It just stayed this way for a while, through page reloads. Then, once Rainy Night ended, my next queued song, Children of Science, started to play, and Variform was skipped. I also confirmed with HaCKa that it was not playing Variform on his end either while Rainy Night was playing. I looked at the Queue history afterwards, and it showed that both Rainy Night and Variform played at 5:27. Variform is also now locked for queueing, even though it never played. Strange stuff.

Note: for the record, the Rainy Night mp3 was named RAINY.MOD.mp3 and so it had the naming scheme that we thought might be causing trouble.

Also strange, the song Not Much Left For You has no length. It just says Not set in both the Now playing and its own page. Otherwise, everything worked fine with it.

edit: This apparently is the case for a number of songs. Just Google "site:scenemusic.eu not set" to get a list of them.

ahh nice google skills ezzelin. that'll help terrasque and ye admins locate the wrongly tagged songs.

Note: Queue log shows that Variform was requested before Rainy Night (according to ID and request time).

Did the queue listing show Rainy Night before Variform? If you're unsure, then say so, it's better than me using wrong info when debugging

You should add voting history with a hyperlink on (xx votes).
