I've got a thing with retro.. you see I can't stop thinking about them.. the feel, and stuff keeps me happy. I have a whole thing with the (60|70|80|90)'s: I never got over it.
But... I guess my sobbing for baggy T-shirts is going nowhere :D.
DemoScene Exposure
WARNING: MIGHT BE BORING
My first exposure to »Demoscene« was from a little eperience I had as a kid. Basically I'm just the type of person that spends most of his time in front of a computer, and they fascinate me.
SomeWhere in 2000. A friend of mine called me over to take a look at »Need For Speed: High Stakes«. Being the race-game liker... I tagged along.
Being the morons we were, we were using »warez« rip of the game. My friend hadn't installed it yet, so I helped him out.
But as soon as I started up the CLASS installer, I froze. That music seemed amazing to me... (MakTone - Class 02)... I was captivated, every beat and loop seemed to be... like... 
I'm not really a gamer on the PC. But I wanted the tune so badly, and so I borrowed the disc. I later just copied the installer, and kept listening (apparently my mom really liked it ). I used to listen to the Chips from other Key-Gens, and Cracks from then on.
In 2006 I gave LinUX a try (fuck you MicroSoft! You killed OS/2), and made the permanent transistion. The software directory made it easy for me to find soft-ware for chip-tuning. I finally got the chance to look under the hood of a chip-tune.
From then on, everything flowed easily, I finally gained access to a permanent Inter-net connection, and was able now to understand DemoScene, ChipTune culture.

I have a history of being over-sensitive :D, but that episode's pretty over. I practically still live in the 80's, I dress (mom doesn't let me), talk, and listen to 80's music.
